Legal Experience

For over 30 years, Ms. Gannon has focused her practice on employment law, representing employers in litigation
matters, with first chair jury trial experience.  As a partner at Littler Mendelson PC and at Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard
& Smith, LLP, where she was chair of the San Francisco office’s employment practice group, she represented employers
in a wide variety of litigation matters, including individual complaints of employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, wrongful termination, employment discrimination class actions, and wage and hour class actions in the California federal and state courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the California Courts of Appeal.  She has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the California Department of Industrial Relations, and the National Labor Relations Board.  She enjoys conducting management training and has been retained to conduct a number of harassment investigations involving high-level executives.

Ms. Gannon has served as an arbitrator for the Bar Association of San Francisco Mandatory Fee Dispute program and is currently Chair of its Executive Committee.  She has been appointed to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California’s Early Neutral Evaluation and Mediation programs, and as well as the San Francisco Superior Court’s Early Settlement program.  As a result of her extensive experience, both as a mediator in these programs and representing clients in mediations, Ms. Gannon has expanded her professional practice to be available to act as a private mediator.
