Professional Profile

Hsiao C. (Mark) Mao is a litigation attorney at Dillingham & Murphy, LLP. His practice emphasizes all aspects of real estate litigation and insurance litigation. He is admitted to practice before all state courts and federal district courts in California, and has considerable litigation experience in both forums.

Prior to joining Dillingham & Murphy, LLP, Mr. Mao was with Liner Yankelevitz Sunshine & Regenstreif LLP, another mid-sized firm with offices also in San Francisco.  Mr. Mao worked as a business & technology consultant at Arthur Andersen Consulting before he attended law school.

Mr. Mao is native fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and can understand Taiwanese Chinese and Cantonese Chinese.  He is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, and has handled numerous pro bono matters on behalf of non-profit organizations. 

Education

Mr. Mao received his J.D. from U.C. Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, in 2004, and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Remedies.  While at Boalt Hall, he served on the executive board for the Asian Law Journal.  Mr. Mao received his B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, and graduated in 2000 with Highest Honors.
